Purna

Purna is a sanskrit word meaning "Complete". Purna yoga is a holistic practice that allows us to embrace all our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs, on and off the mat. The practice is alignment focused. Blocks, belts and bolsters are available to be used to support and modify postures safely. A typical class consists of sun salutations, standing postures, backbending and inversions, before completing in Savasana.

Reset and Restore

Reset and Restore with a group of floor based asanas with the support of props, suitable for all levels. Restorative is a passive style of yoga that offers an invitation into complete and delicious surrender; a place where tight muscles unfurl, cluttered minds clear and emotions re-balance.

Stretch and Release

A practice with long holds and a long Savasana to soothe the body. Using a combination of bolsters, blankets and blocks to support you. Learn to connect with your body and acknowledge it’s need for rest and recover. Yin yoga poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body, the tendons, fascia, and ligaments, with the aim of increasing circulation in our joints and improving our flexibility. A great compliment to your more active practice.

Private yoga is ideal if you're new to the practice or a regular student looking to enhance the progression of your practice. Corporate yoga programmes have been proven to save businesses money in terms of reducing staff turnover, absenteeism, illness and stress leave. The toning and stretching from a yoga class improve the postures and help reduce common aches and pains associated with sitting at a desk all day. Feb Challenge

This challenge is about the journey – physically, emotionally, and spiritually. This is a challenge to meet you where YOU are, not where you think you should be! It’s a challenge that might surprise you of what you’re capable of. Most of all, it’s a challenge to just get close to feeling into your physical body to feel into the deeper subtle energies as you carry on with it.

From Monday 4th Feb, until Thurs 28th Feb 2019, I encourage you to increase your current yoga practice. If you currently practice 1 a week increase to two, practice 2 times a week increase to 3 and so on. Daily journal entries are encouraged throughout the challenge to stay on track mentally as well.

All levels welcome to take up this challenge. *ALL participants must hold a valid class pass ( 4, 8, 20 ) or membership throughout the challenge

Ness is excited to host a yoga and mindfulness retreat for all yoga levels in the beautiful King Valley. Enjoy waking up in nature, with daily sunrise meditation and yoga before a wholesome breakfast, followed by a flexible schedule and more culinary delights. This retreat is about you and doing what you need, whether it be expanding your daily yoga practice or reconnecting with yourself by immersing in nature and soothing your soul.

This retreat is intended to connect you with your natural spirit and inner wisdom on a deeper level. In addition to the premium yoga and mindfulness offerings, locally sourced and seasonal cuisine will be served over the three days. They will nourish and complement your practice and provide time to sit and enjoy your meals with others.

This weekend is all about reconnecting with yourself, as you are immersed in the surrounding nature.
